Li Jin Ming Exhibition, Small Paintings; Big World, Extended to the End of November at L. C Yilang for Asia Games

As Li Jin Ming is being honored with the printing of a limited edition commemorative Chinese stamp collection , in honor of the 2010 Guangzhou Asia Games, we have decided to extend the exhibition  of his paintings, Small Paintings; Big World, at L. C. Gallery, in Guangzhou, until the end of November, in honor of his achievement and the Asia Games.  One of the paintings, in the exhibition, "Flower of the Miao People," is being used as the cover for his stamp album, giving us even more reason to extend the exhibition, so that people can view that painting, in person.

The exhibition includes paintings from over a fifty year period, which Li has kept in his private collection, until now.  They cover a wide range of styles, locations, subjects, and periods in the history of the PRC.  The exhibition is open daily at Leona Craig Art's L. C. Yilang (Art Gallery), in Guangzhou, China.

Li Jin Ming (Jin Ming Li; Jin Ming Lee) is a fine contemporary Chinese painter from Guangdong Province.  He was a student of Xu Jian Bai, who was a student of the famous Lin Feng Mian, one of the fathers of contemporary Chinese oil painting.

You can read more about Leona Craig Art and the Li Jin Ming Exhibition, in the following recent newspapers (in Chinese): Nanfang Daily News, China Fine Art News, Guangzhou Daily News , and Yangcheng Nightly News .  Press about the stamp collection is forthcoming
